Valentine Seraphine (ヴァレンタイン・セ ラフィネ) is a voicebank created for the UTAU program. His first voicebank (JP-CV ACT 1) was released July 15th, 2021. The first of two JP-VCV voicebanks was released privately on June 3rd, 2021. ACT 2 of his JP-CV voicebank was released April 29th, 2023 and is currently available for download.
Valentine is voiced by DragoP[1] His voicebank is illustrated and managed by DragoP.
Concept[]
Valentine is a young man of about 18 years old. He is a dragon-human hybrid, with the ability to transform between human and dragon forms.
Etymology details[]
Valentine Seraphine is named after Saint Valentine's Day, a holiday associated with love.[2] The name is derived from the Roman family name Valentinus, which was derived from the Latin word valens, meaning "strong and healthy".[3]
Seraphine is a derivative of the late Latin Seraphina, from the Biblical Hebrew word seraphim (שְׂרָפִים) possibly meaning "shining snake" (lit. burning serpent.) [4][5][6]
Valentine's beta design was a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure original character named Violetto. Violetto shares many attributes with Valentine, such as their shared height, weight, and character item. Due to a desire to disassociate Violetto from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and establish him as an UTAU, he was redesigned and renamed to Valentine.
No images of his design nor videos utilizing his design are publicly available.[7]
Valentine's most recognizable and widely utilized design is that of his ACT 1 voicebank. With his graduation to ACT 2, he is formally known as Valentine Seraphine.
In this iteration, Valentine wears flared dark-pink plaid pants, held up by a black and silver belt. He also wears a pink off-the-shoulder sweater featuring a light-pink trim and heart-shaped buttons over a skin-tight black sleeveless turtleneck with a heart cutout. He also wears blue boots with pink wedge heels.Valentine's VCV ACT 2 voicebank has been announced[8] but is currently under development. No release date has been announced.
Character details[]
- Description: Valentine is approximately 6ft/183cm. He has long, wavy, dark-blue hair and a heart-shaped ahoge. Two pink horns on his head rest behind his bangs. His face is pale, with stubble on his chin. Valentine has striking pink eyes and pointed teeth. In his hybrid form, he has a set of large (22ft) black and pink bat-like wings. Below his belt is a long, scaly, pink tail with a light pink underbelly, ending in a heart-shaped club.

- Personality: Valentine is a little hot-headed and cocky. He has a tendency to slack off and will often ignore work in favor of spending more time playing video games or singing. Additionally, he can be obsessive over his appearance. Despite his hot-headedness, he is very protective of his little sister and friends. His greatest goal is to be admired, joining Amity in her goal to be an idol.
