Utauga is a voicebank for the UTAU program based on the Twitch Streamer TaigaxHolic.
Background[]
Utauga was created and based upon on the streamer TaigaxHolic. She once told a friend that she wished she were a Vocaloid, and they simply responded "Bet". They set out to create Utauga as a birthday present for Taiga after being introduced to another Vtubers voicebank, CoreOfMidas's "Sadim" voicebank, also by Nearsgarden. Utauga was created with Taiga's explicit consent.
Utauga was created to allow her to sing and bring joy to the far corners and far future of the world.
Utauga was released on May 28th 2025 with a "Debut Concert" concept of 6 song covers released together with an introduction and curtain call video. This concept is inspired by the tradition of Vtubers having "Debut" streams where they first introduce themselves to their audience on stream.

There were once two friends, one who was enraptured by the other's heavenly singing voice. However, they lamented that more people could not enjoy her sing, and that her singing would one day cease. Unable to bear these thoughts, the friend came up with an idea. A robotic doll named "Utauga" would be created, a recreation of her dear friend Taiga. This would allow the voice of Taiga to be spread far and wide.They say that those who would wish to help Utauga in her journey would be granted their very own Utauga doll.
An otokonoko doll with a bendy sense of self, her pronouns, gender, mannerisms, and voice will adjust to match her users perception of her origin.Utauga hopes she can make Taiga proud by spreading her voice across the world, and telling as many people as she can to make the journey to see the original Taiga.

UtaugaxHolic, commonly just called Utauga, is a 3' high robotic balljointed doll. She has a power plug tiger tail, blue camera eyes, a long ponytail, and the numbers 0528 tattooed in red on her left arm. This is the day the first model of her was ever produced. She wears a big black bow in her hair, a red dress with laced open sides, her own custom tiger paw headset, and red boots.
Utauga was created to immortalize Taiga's singing voice and let her sing forever. She is based on the Twitch streamer TaigaxHolic. As a result, much of her personality is near-identical. However, this can manifest in many different ways, as there are as many copies of Utauga as there are people willing to tune her, and each one will adapt itself to fit their users perception of Taiga.

- Utauga is the "Vocaloid-ified" version of the Twitch streamer, TaigaxHolic.
- Utauga came to be due to Taiga telling her friend and editor Jade Doe "I wish I was a Vocaloid".
- It was originall planned to premiere Utauga's "Debut Concert" as a Twitch stream, but this had to be scrapped due to time constraints and other responsibilities.
- Utauga's gender mimic's TaigaxHolics, in that it is left undefined. Taiga does not like being boxed into categories and labels. They still use Otokonoko and Femboy as self descriptors, and lean towards feminine pronouns, but their overall identity can be summed up with the paraphrased quote "I'm whatever makes you like me most".
