PERSONALITY: At first glance, Shin may look like the quiet bookish type, but in truth, he's a pretty cool guy. Friendly, helpful, and moody at some times. He's always helping one of his friends with a problem, be it personal or otherwise. When provoked, his short-tempered-ness is to be reckoned with. He's also a mild gamer and will always be glued to the monitor. His favorite kinds of games are puzzle/action games, and takes an interest in RPGs. If not glued to a screen, then Shin will be buried in a book. As long as it appeals to him, he'll read it.

Voice Configuration[]

Shin's voicebank is made up of Japanese syllables, so he can only sing in Japanese. However, as with most other UTAUloids, he can be made into singing other languages. His voicebank is in Kana, so some users may have to convert it to Romaji first, before using him.

His first public release (Version 0.2) had one major flaw. His "ue" syllable sounds hoarse when applied in a song. The reason for that is because when recording his voice, Uta Utane's voice was used as a base. When saving the syllable, both voices were saved, instead of just Shin's.

His second public release (Version 0.3) has an updated oto.ini file with romaji support through the oto.ini file. (i.e. having a "か" note will be the same as having a "ka" note. However, inputting romaji through the lyric box is not suggested, as it breaks up each letter, ex: putting in "ka" will have "k" "a" as an output.) The "ue" flaw is still present, but the creator is considering re-recording, though not in the near future.)

A third release (Version 0.3.1) features a newer updated oto.ini file with the same romaji support. This release also has a romaji counterpart for Western users.
