SKEOULOID (スケオウロイド) is a voicebank for the UTAU program.

Profile[]

SKEOULOID’s android armature was initially designed to aid local fire stations during emergency procedures as a sort of “ fire hydrant robot” mechanism. The prototype was abruptly scrapped, but was taken up by an unknown record label to serve as an exoskeleton for a “revolutionary cyborg idol” project.

SKEOULOID's personality is turbulent and relies on the polar characteristics of their human and android halves. Their human half is a drowsy vocalist who sings in the lower register, and will also appear for emotional elegies. Their android half is a bubbly idol who sings in the higher register, and appears for cheery rhythms. SKEOULOID defaults to their human half, but is abruptly overtaken by their cyborg half in frequent intervals. It is important to note that SKEOULOID's halves do not function individually from one another but rather as two halves of a whole through the palpations of song.

SKEOULOID’s emotions often lean towards extremes. When stressed, the outlet on SKEOULOID’s back may pop open and release a high-pressure stream of water. SKEOULOID is also prone to falling over due to the weight of their android exoskeleton.
