Ronald Lane McAlistair, formerly Haley Jasmine McAlistair, is a transgender man in the beginning stages of the transitioning process. He was previously the drummer for "The Invalid Band" and usually helped in the choreography of their shows when needed.
Ronald spent most of his life out in the country, living with his grandparents on their ranch and taking a liking to the "cowboy" lifestyle until the age of 19. Picking up a love for music and a desire to beat the hell out of a drum, he taught himself how to play percussion by using items he could gather around his home. For about 2 years, he practiced on makeshift drums until he was able to afford his own kit through enough money-saving. He's been playing ever since.
Ronnie took up the more grunge style towards the beginning of his transitional period, as he enjoyed the feeling of the loose clothing options, dark colours, and the ability to create his own accessories. He made his pendant from scratch using turquoise and resin that he was able to purchase online. It took him about 8 tries before he was satisfied with the results. He did the same for most of his earring sets.
Ronnie is a pagan, often practicing his craft in private where no one can disturb him. He will often find spells to cast and set out certain stones or candles in order to protect those he cares about, especially within the home he shares with his friends. He is known to hex those who have wronged the group out of spite, though the other members do their best to stop him.
In his spare time, Ronald enjoys cattle roping competitions, bull riding, and playing at cowboy themed bars. He never told anyone, but he enjoys the feeling of both being on his horse or on a rampaging bull, and singing country music that he actually enjoys. He fears telling any of his friends about this, worrying that they would cast him out if they knew.
Similarly, Ronnie indulges in things like certain cartoons (Think Steven Universe, MLP, etc.), music (KPop, CPop, JRock, etc.) and other media forms that he is aware is a bit more on the "strange" side of things. This worries him in the same vein as his enjoyment of cowboy activities, so he often tries to engage in these forms of media when no one else is around. He also appears to have a hyper-fixation on horses and poetry.
Mentally and Physically, Ronnie undergoes quite a bit, having a strong habit of masking most of his issues.
Ronald is formally diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, ASD, Synesthesia, Misophonia, and Bipolar II (though this may be a misdiagnosis). He began seeking out professional guidance in order to combat constant feelings of paranoia related to how people view him, his severe social anxiety, and his constant dips in his mood, making it difficult for him to function day to day.
Physically, his right eye was damaged from dog attack, he has a slow metabolism, suffers from chronic lower back pain, and has allergies to shellfish, eggs, and dairy.
A little known fact about Ronnie that only a select few are aware of is that he actively studies and practices physical magic, from elemental to textbook. It is said that he began learning due to his past music teacher, and he has kept it up since. His elemental choice that he primarily uses when in his more "serious" state is electricity.
In many contexts, Ronnie is often seen as "dog like", in which it is lead to believe that he is not fully human, accounting for his mannerisms, general clinginess, desire to please those around him, and combined with his unusual ability to control magic as easily as he does. It is speculated and later confirmed that he is, in fact, a werewolf, coming from his father's side of the family.
Currently, Ronnie has been in and out of the hospital, jumping between being with his housemate Sylas and his boyfriend Attor whilst debating on whether or not to ask if either could potentially house his friend Elise. He is aiming to try and stabilize his mental state whilst maintaining his relationships, as well as looking into different hobbies that he can channel his negative energy into so that he can cease any form of self inflicted damage in the form of fights, punching inanimate objects, doom scrolling online, or [REDACTED ACTION].

Ronnie is a cynical, emotionally unstable man who generally isolates himself from those who aren't within his close inner circle of friends. He is seen as brooding and dark-minded, though can be very clingy and cuddly towards those who know him the best. He may seem scary to many, but in reality, he's just as scared as everyone else as they are of him.
