Nationality: An alien hailing from the planet of Sixam (unknown to her), Shin's human disguise's is ethnically ambiguous. Her dark skin tone suggests South Asian heritage; however, her "japanese" name says otherwise. Regardless, it doesn't matter since she's not even human.
Other Information[]
Shin isn't exactly human. No one really knows where she came from—to be fair, even she doesn't know. Shin is suffering from a bout of amnesia and isn't really helpful in any other forefront.
Shin has become fascinated by the world of LOIDs and looks at Hatsune Miku as a model—not a role model per say, but a goal to surpass (ie. she thinks she could do better).
Settings[]
For best results, set her flags/rendering options at Y0B0H0F-1. For a more mature voice, set flags/rendering options at g+3H10y0F-15.
Best sampler is bhk01 and fresamp, but do not use TIPS.exe (just don't, I'm doing your ears a favour), or check off resample.dll (harsh, ear-splitting sounds). Unknown about model4, world4utau and other resamplers.
Voicebank Information[]
All voicebank downloads have been taken down and Shin is no longer an active UTAUloid.
UPDATE! September 13, 2019: There is potential for a 2020 release of ACT3.
May 2, 2018: It's been seven years since I first made Pocky/Shin. ACT1 is lost in the abyss, I still have access to ACT2 but the recordings from when I was 13 and the noise wasn't cancelled. I'm no longer active in the art community nor in the UTAU community, so the chance for ACT3 is very unlikely. Thanks for the good memories. :)
