Miko Ooka

Ooka Miko (櫻歌ミコ(おうかみこ)), also called Ouka Miko, is a voicebank for the UTAU program.

Profile

She is a Japanese wolf (the real Japanese wolf is extinct). She turns into a wolf in the dark. Her wolf form is said "the second form." She calls herself Miko in the first form and I/me in the second form. She has the impulse to bite the one she loves.

Etymology details

Name: Ooka (櫻歌) - Sakura (cherry blossom) song. Miko (ミコ) - No meaning.
Her name as a whole is a pun on the phrase "Ookami Ko" (狼子), which translates as "wolf-girl/child."
Other: 35 - taken from her name Miko, 3 (Mi) 5 (Go).

Dress: A pink sakura-print hoodie with floppy lace ears, ruffled sleeves, and pom-poms attached to the drawstrings tied in a bow; pale yellow puffy shorts; black stockings that rise past the knee with red shoes; brown gloves with white fur on wrists. Her overall appearance is inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.

History

Miko is a derivative of Ritsu Namine. The Ritsu troll "Vocaloid" project was launched on October 12, 2009 with three "demos". Two of the demo songs (Canon Rock and Eternal Force Blizzard) were sung by Canon, and one (Reach This Feeling) was sung by Akazukin. The plan to create an Akazukin's UTAU continued after the Ritsu project, and the name was recruited openly on 2ch.

Miko's design and name aspects bear a striking resemblance to the main character of the Spice and Wolf anime, Holo.
