History[]
Matthias HP is a computer android originally built for high security surveillance under the careful eye of the government officials of Ginsenyoko. However, as he was being developed, he noticed how much he hated having a body that was supposed to be deemed “perfect”, as he felt unbearably weak in the skinny body he was given.
Demanding that he be shown other bodies, he came to like the appearance of one in particular; one that was large, and highly out of date. Despite all warnings about the instability of this body, he decided to transfer himself into what he desired. This caused him to lose his position and to be casted out as a result by the ambassador of Ginsenyoko himself.
Not long after being fired, he began his journey into his new found life, developing a love for cooking and working under the supervision of a sweet man named Richard Schumann in a small café in the downtown area. Upon Richard's sudden passing, the café was passed onto Matthias himself, as well as the house Richard owned.
Though this would prove to become rather difficult for the android to handle emotionally, despite being happy that Richard would want to pass on his legacy in such a manner.
His relationship with SAM is important to him, as they were going to be assigned to him regardless of everything that happened. What he did not expect, however, was how independent the young “A.I.” was. He didn’t mind this, but did NOT get along with them initially until the “incident”. Not too long after that, SAI came along.
Matthias currently runs his cafe with SAM’s, CIA's, A.T.M's, S.P.A.L's, V.I.E.L's, and SAI’s help on occasion, and aims to just feed people with the comfort foods he has grown to love himself. He also tends to obtain the help of his children.
Currently, Matthias is a single father of 2, though that will soon change with Richard, who is now going by Angel, coming back into his life.
Matthias suffers from several mental and physical ailments
Mental: Depression, morbid ideation, OCD, speech impediment (moderate to severe)
Physical: body physically unstable, overheats easily, programming has tendency to crash, needs reboots and constant repairs

Matthias is a cynical android who usually looks at the worst before moving forward with any sort of plan. He suffers from depression and has a bad chain-smoking habit as a result, though he doesn’t think this is a problem. To those he is close with, he is a gentle and caring father-like figure who can be aggressive when needed, but to others he’s cold hearted and genuinely uninterested in who approaches him unless it has to do with his business.
