mato (マト) (complete name 草地マト "mato from the prairie") is a voicebank for the UTAU program.

-mato- speaks english, spanish and japanese, but only has released voicebanks in the latter.
He is a profound lover of plants, flowers, summer and bugs... his room and garden are full of them! He can't seem to get enough. His love and pride are his giant monstera and his wildflower patch.
This... BOY really likes painting and drawing with bright colors and is obsessed with drawing his own face everywhere he can.
-mato- is a very curious dude, having lots of interests ranging across economics, design, botany, entomology, astronomy, technology, music, you name it!
He hopes to sing all your songs and to one day make someone smile.

- Description: he is a pretty average white passing boy
- Outfit: in his original design, mato is wearing a military green t-shirt, a pair of caqui shorts and white sneakers. he remember he had to take some pictures for the vb and grabbed what was available in his wardrobe.
- Likes: most things. mato is interested in almost everything and is in love with learning. but, he is reaaaaally into nature: bugs, plants, birds, fish, frogs, bodies of water, you name it. he also prays to hatsune miku every night
- Dislikes: violence, as in "i'm an anarchist and i hate violence" dislike...

- mato is maya's best friend. he used to have a big crush on Ezekiel, but is now more into Itazura Seto and has always felt.......... "hehe" for Kye. He also admires Soon Roko but feels too inferior to go talk to him.

- he's left handed... and always makes a big deal out of it even tho it's not that important
- mato's love language is making pizza
- even tho he is a total sucker for nature, mato is very tech savvy and can usually solve any software issue
- mato loves fixing, building and setting stuff up
