Background[]
He is selective with those he calls close but is apt to be friendly with all. His vibrant optimism lets him make friends with the turn of the head and his extraverted and naturally funniness makes people drawn to him. He is able to make people who wouldn't typically befriend people like him fall in love with him as he has a certain grip of a conversation and never lets it die down. His high sense of self-appearance is something he upkeeps and holds to a high standard. He goes against the traditional beauty standards that people would expect from someone like him, preferring to challenge the natural conventions of normality and wearing whatever he enjoys or finds colorful and pretty. He has a keen knowledge of things like color coordination, makeup and all sorts of outfits. And he is ALWAYS capable of telling someone if something they are wearing works or not, ready to give tips and tricks to make something pop more. He works with people's nails and is the chit-chatter of every salon's dreams. He knows the tea and gossip of everyone in his area and gets called all sorts of nicknames by his regular customers. They always come to him because his job is exquisite, and he loves to make people look as fabulous as he believes all people are able to look.
Mamo has a form of dyslexia that causes his words to slur out of his mouth at times, being a bit hard to understand. It also comes in a form of reversing the order of letters and entire words, where his sentence will feel correct but come out backwards until he realizes it or someone has to tell him the mistake he just made, as his brain attempts to correct it. He was in a long-time relationship with Ken Shippai until the two split due to interpersonal reasons and Ken wanting to experience more things in life outside of Mamo. The two have since reconnected and re-found love with one another, and are settling down more than ever before. They never fell out of love with one another fully and Mamo had always hoped that Ken would return, as she was the only person he had ever met that could make his level of intensity.
