Kyo is a lumbering, oafish, simple-minded man. His primitive lifestyle of growing up amongst the forest animals made him develop animalistic tendencies: ravenous hunger, sleeping for long periods, and a general curiosity for humans. Now in society, Kyo struggles to comprehend many basic functions of human interaction and speech, resorting to grunts and groans sometimes. At his core, however, he is a fragile soul, apt to want to learn and comfort those around him. He also tends to be overprotective of those close to him, as he never wishes to lose anyone else.
