Kurai Kanjo (暗い感情) is a voicebank for the UTAU program.
History[]
Kurai's 2018 design had a black hoodie zip up with pockets in the front, black thigh ripped jeans, and black converse shoes(similar to his act2 model)with the name "Nathaniel X" that was changed to Blade OX but the creator thought it made no sense that Blade meant knife and OX is a name of a bull so it was changed to Kurai Kanjo/Dark Emotions.
Instead of the usual colors of black and gray, he also likes to wear white shirts and warm colors. His favorite shoe brand is Converse, Timberland and Vans. He was created on November 3, 2018 with help from Ashlyn Wallace he was recorded on Samsung, his ACT1 voicebank was without a mic and audio wasn’t very clear and ACT2 was recorded beginning of June 2021 iPhone EarPods with reducing noise. He was going to be inspired by Jeff the killer but is now based on his creators story and personality. Kurai was created when the creator was 13 and also voiced his 1st bank at that age then changed his name and design at age 14, his voicebanks are still in development.
His first appearance and cover was Ievan Polkka. He was going to have a black scar vertically across his left eye but was cancelled by the designer/creator. He can also go cross-eyed(he sees double vision). His favorite soda drinks are Coca Cola and Pepsi. His original hair color is blackish brown, went from that to his current color and his eye color is brown but wears cherry red contacts.
His birthday is March 30, 2005, he is an Aries sun, Sagittarius moon and Leo rising. (ASTROLOGY DOESNT AFFECT YOUR BEHAVIOR) His favorite colors are his whole color scheme. People describe his face to be mad or sad but he just has a RBF. He likes to listen to ASMR and feels relaxed. He likes Furloids. His hair is naturally a little curly and wavy but he brushes it. He loves air fresheners that smell sweet like pumpkin or cookies. Favorite cologne is Aquarius Black. He’s repetitive with topics he doesn’t like new things.
He has allergies that act like a cold he tends to sneeze a lot. His favorite shows as a kid were Cartoon Network and Adult Swim but in 2016 his friend showed him Happy Tree Friends and it’s been his favorite ever since. He’s also Panty and Stocking fan WE NEED SEASON 2. Lost his virginity at 15. When he’s sad he can’t get out of bed it’s like a gloom cloud holding him down. He loves sweets so much that it’s basically the only food he eats, due to lack of brushing he has a few cavities. Oct 2022, he recently got his bottom teeth with crowns.
He is on his phone 24/7, he packs up his charger and headphones everywhere he goes. He is a texting type of person he would not video call anyone other than his family. He has a dark brown birthmark on his left arm, he covers it with sleeves. His age changes when he gets new voicebanks. Loves cats, the purring calms him down. Laying down too long causes dizziness and phosphenes. In 2020 tested positive for COVID had to take medicine and keep away from everyone. He is always twirling a strand of his hair for an unknown reason sometimes resulting in little knots. He loves Firecracker Sushi but has tasted Wasabi and it burned his nose and mouth. He would eat Takis as a kid and Pelon Pelo Rico now he loves cakes and ice cream. His favorite producers are VocaCircus and Crusher-P

/TW:PERSONAL TOPICS\ Kurai is a teenager who was born in Texas like his parents his great grandparents are from Mexico, though people mistake him as another race because he doesn’t speak much Spanish. Kurai is Intellectually disabled like his creator he took speech and physical therapy. Kurai found a paper saying he might had Conduct Disorder because of his tantrums and aggression to animals.He has Gastrointestinal Disorder so he wears adult diapers, he is embarrassed to admit that.
He suffered from epilepsy unaware what happened, he described it “sleeping” since you can’t control when it stops, after age of 10 it went away. He is mostly chill and likes to tell jokes. He likes to watch memes because it makes him laugh hard. During the day he is always tired due to messed up sleeping schedule. To make him laugh, cursing is one of the ways. Kurai doesn't like speaking his mind/venting since others opinions feel like criticism. He’s not very social when meeting new people but very talkative and loud around his brother.
His family lectures him about his laziness, sleeping everyday not employed. He’s doing online dating to make friends or even a lover, he likes chubby men. In elementary school 3rd grade he was bullied one day, a student wrote on his desk and he was blamed for it so he had to wash it off. At the end in 5th grade he had friends who dared him to do dumb things like run away from school and drawing inappropriate things. He was in high school but failed a lot due to skipping/not turning in homework so the end of 2022 he dropped out.
In 2013 his mother confessed his biological dad left him he didn’t ask her why but he is glad to grow up the way he did with the father of his brothers who took care of him. His mother was depressed, had a toxic relationship he was there to comfort her in difficult times. Kurai teachers said he showed signs of stress and guilt. His feelings are fragile he knows how to bottle it up. At the age of 5 he had a fear of the dark, he thought his stuffed animals watched him with cameras in eyes. What he does in his free time is be on his phone watching YouTube videos, Instagram, Snapchat, Discord and Facebook. You can get him to talk by having the same interests and letting him do whatever he wants, he will become more comfortable with you. His favorite UTAUs are:Utaune Kuru, Waltt, Cerif, Denki Sai and Marshy.
