Iyashi (癒し) is a voicebank for the UTAU program.

Show me that horizon, promise me a world better than this on the other side of the sun.
—Saim A. Cheeda

Background[]

Elizabeth lived an empathetic life with a thumb towards the human condition when she walked the Earth. She enjoyed the traditional life of a housewife and was family-oriented. She stayed by the side of her husband through thick and thin. This made it even more difficult to stomach when he was put into the position to be drafted into war. She would sit by her bedside and write letters to him incessantly, praying for his safe return upon her knees and falling asleep with tears on her cheeks (Elizabeth was never one to shy away from showing her emotion and it would pour out of her whether she liked it or not.). Tragically, her husband never returned home. She entered a deep state of grief, unable to handle this loss or fathom a world without him in it. Coincidentally, near the exact point this news passed her, she discovered that she was pregnant with their child.

Now living with only one goal in her world: To try to carry this child to term and give him or her the best life she possibly could--to live vicariously through, and to keep the memory of her dear husband alive--. However, her health began to gradually decrease, both mentally and physically. The loss she felt in her heart overtook her, causing her to deplete. By the time her delivery came to be, her child was too weak and too sick to survive and passed. Doctors tried with everything they could muster to nurse the child back to life, but in the end, only could save Elizabeth's own life; though she had hung up barely by a thread.

Lost, and without a single purpose to live in this world, after some time passed, and she could not discover meaning once again, she took her own life, to hopefully find her loved ones in the next to see their smiles once again. The Messiah looked down upon her in great pity, feeling the aura of her remorse for giving up on life, feeling the aura of her purest of pains, and watching over her empathy and sympathy for others in her life. He allowed her into His kingdom, bestowing upon her the gift of healing, dubbing her "Iyashi, Angel of Healing", wishing for her to become a beacon of hope for those who struggled, so that she may use that deep empathy to save others from similar fates to her own. She serves as a guardian and protector over those who seek to take their own lives, or are suffering from depression and other illnesses that afflict them tremendously and weigh their souls down.

Iyashi's tears have a benevolent power to materialize life out of nothingness. Her sorrow holds the will to create life out of thin air. She can produce near-identical human-akin lifeforms from the simplest of things, botanicals and even rocks and other granular objects. Two of Iyashi's fondest creations were the sun and moonstones Ken Shippai and Kaya. Sunken in a deep sorrow, Iyashi's tears fell gently down to touch the cosmos she lingered in. Those tears came into brief contact with the rocks that the two manifested their existences from. Iyashi has unknowingly crafted many other lifeforms that inhabit a variety of galaxies spanning many lightyears. Whenever any of her creations lead a path of malice of any sort, it brings her great distress, and she will attempt to reach out to contact them and aid them.

Iyashi has a long-standing task to persecute and prevent Dream Eater from penetrating the minds and hearts of anxiety-ridden and vulnerable people. They are polar opposites in every sense of the term. Iyashi is the only angel that has been found to be strong enough to challenge his own powers.

When Iyashi's presence is around, those who come into contact with her always recount a sense of peace, warmth and love unlike anything they have ever felt. She appears with her eyes shut more often than not, as opening them unleashes a vibrant ray of light that no mere human can stare upon.
