Hana-chan is the first UTAU released by Hannah Reid (Wolf and raven.) She is just her as an utau version.

Etymology details

Name: Akai (赤い) - It means red. Because the word red is similar to the creator's last name. FIRST-NAME: Hana (花) - It means Flower. But also the creator's name is Hannah. Hana-chan is rarely referred to by her full name and prefers to be called Hana- with the suffix -chan.
Type: Utauloid with a CV voicebank so far available.

Description:
Appearance: Hana-chan is a slim, slender girl with pale skin, brown waist-length wavy hair with an "ahoge" at the top. (Fun fact: Her ahoge's position changes with her mood!) She is often mistaken for a child, despite being an adult, though her actual age is unknown. She has hazel or "golden" eyes.
Personality: Generally good-natured and friendly, Hana-chan can be extremely awkward, and often says the wrong thing unintentionally, getting herself into trouble! She is often described as scatter-brained, and a dreamer who always has her head in the clouds. She has lots of big ideas, but often gets unmotivated and procrastinates when she is discouraged. But when she is passionate about something, she will blaze through it and amaze herself and others! Hana-chan has a habit of hoarding, and her biggest fear is being forgotten, or being corrupted and being put in the "recycle bin." (It's like prison for the BAD utauloids!) Hana-chan is described as a cry-baby, and is very childlike, despite being an adult. She enjoys spending time with kids and participating in childlike activities such as playing with plushies, watching cartoons, playing on playground equipment, and playing pretend, In many ways she is just like a child, as she sees wonder in the world, and is also very naive. She simply cannot look after herself, even if she says she can! She also hates it when people judge her because of her age, or they act patronising to her because they assume she is a child. Although dependant on others in many ways, though, she is very independant of thought and a non-conformist. She follows her heart no matter what, even if the whole world is against her. Of course, because of her... interesting and sometimes controversial opinions, others often misunderstand her, and get the wrong idea. She also has a childish way of responding to people she doesn't like and has a twisted side, saying things she doesn't mean, although mostly these are just jokes and her way of dealing with feelings of resentment. Utterly, she struggles from a lot of self-hate, and feels like deep down, nobody could understand her. She doesn't really know if she belongs anywhere. To the people she cares most about, she acts cheerful and happy for the most part, putting on a brave face so as not to make them sad. She's a trendsetter and stylish, and her biggest dream is to sing and make many people happy with her voice. An admirable goal, wouldn't you agree? She is shown to be extremely imaginative and can think up the most amazing ideas and scenarios. This also leads her to get carried away with her imagination. As well as being fun sometimes, it can also cause her a great deal of anxiety and she can scare herself with her own thoughts and induce herself into a nervous wreck. She is shy towards people she doesn’t know. She can also be a cry-baby and act extremely childish and immature for her age. She rejects all adult things, preferring to stay in childhood and loves to play games with her friends using their imagination. She also loves candy and desserts, her favourite food being strawberry shortcake. She can be quite spoilt and can have tantrums when she doesn’t get her way. She sees the world in a different way to other people, so her logic and the ideas she comes up with can seem strange or illogical to other people, whereas to her, it makes perfect sense. Because of this, she can make some questionable decisions, not even knowing any better. Sometimes the things she says can be quite cutting; this is because of her sense of humour. But not to be mistaken for insensitivity. When she is hurting, she can say jokes at others expense to make herself feel better. But this is only because she is sensitive and is hurting deep down. This inner turmoil, especially in regards to her feelings of love, makes her perhaps one of the most misunderstood characters in animated history. Her colours, red and white, reflect her personality well: red symbolising passion and strong emotions; white symbolising purity and her childlike innocence. She can often be seen holding a balloon, which is another one of her trademark items. This also plays into her being stuck in childhood, and the balloon represents life’s successes and failures, joys, and losses. And that’s a big thing.
