Erusalem Kuruwane North Sea Road (エルサレム・狂和音・ノースシーロード) or simply Erusalem, is a voicebank for the UTAU program.
Etymology[]
- Name: Erusalem (エルサレム) - It can also be translated as "Jerusalem". Kuruwane (狂和音) - Crazy chord. 狂和 can also be translated as "Madness" or "Madness and harmony". North Sea Road (ノースシーロード) - literally translates as "Road to the North Sea".
History[]
Erusalem first appeared as a character on December 31, 2014, through her first demo, "Islamic Golden Attack" composed by Deadball-P, and sung by the character voice provider, which would never be revealed.
It was officially released as UTAU on February 4, 2015, having a Japanese and an romaji CV voicebank.
Despite the controversial lyrics written by Deadball-P and Vippers in its demo song, its creator has stated that Erusalem is not intended to be offensive against Islam, but rather to draw attention to the Middle East conflict and discourage the willful ignorance of those living in peaceful countries.
Unfortunately, Erusalem did not get enough recognition, and therefore, it was left in oblivion.
Appearance details[]
Erusalem is a young woman with a dark complexion, short black hair and green eyes.
Her attire consists of an apparently Israeli military outfit, to which she wears equalizers hooked on her arms. She is draped in cloaks that emanate from her garb and these are wrapped around her weapons. She wears black military buccaneer boots.
She wears a headset that could be improvised, which has a microphone used by the military.
Personality[]
Erusalem does not have a defined personality.
- Likes: Peace, money, delicious food and her compatriots.
- Dislikes: Hostile organizations, pork, Obama and bystanders watching from a peaceful place.
- Religion: Islam
She is said to be very good with weapons, with her recent favorite being surface-to-air missiles and heavy weapons.
Voicebank details[]
Erusalem's voice bank download comes with a kana bank in both romaji (credited in the archive as "English voice bank") and Japanese, and the latest distribution includes oto.inis created by foreign user The_Fish_God. The download is not distributed with a readme.txt file for either the Romaji or Japanese voicebank. Therefore, details of its usage policy are unknown.

Trivia[]
- An Arabic voicebank was planned, it was never known if it was completed or not.
- There appears to be an anime called "Erusalem Requiem" that was in the works involving Erusalem and other characters, with the goal of educating people about the events that occur in the Middle East. There is not much known about the anime save for some images available in the voicebank archive. It is assumed that the anime is cancelled.
