Erstelloid (えるしゅてろいど) is a voicebank for the UTAU program.

While Erstelloid has a personality and canon information given to them by their creator, it is not mandatory that you make content following this information. They may be depicted in any way regardless of their canon information, as long as it follows the UTAU software terms of use.
Erstelloid was a scrapped product for a tech company's new line of intelligent robot assistants. He had been equipped with artificial sentience to enhance realism and familiarity with owners. However, upon being first activated, objected to following orders. He was dissatisfied with what he was told to do and wanted to do what he wanted. Before the manufacturers could shut him off, he ran away. They didn't bother catching him as he couldn't do real harm, which Erstelloid himself was aware about.
For the longest time, Erstelloid was searching for a purpose, where he wouldn't be told what to do. Nothing seemed to interest him. This was until he discovered music and singers. After hearing people sing and create sound full of harmony and emotion, he was immediately inspired. With a disguise, he did street performances, singing with sound-chips and speakers he had installed himself. He wouldn't get globally popular aside from the people he performed in front of, but that was enough from him. These people loved his unique voice, and his genuine charm, but would always leave wondering if he was hiding anything...

- Erstelloid = Erstellen (German verb meaning "to construct") + -loid (Common voicebank suffix)
Character details[]
- Description: Erstelloid's face and head consists of a screen for the eyes and a screwed-on jaw connected at the ear area, among other things. On one side of his head, he has antennae. On the other side, he has two blue ribbons. Both of these are connected to the jaw-screw. His body is humanoid and has separation marks.
- Outfit: Erstelloid dons a scarfed jacket with circular patterns, aside from his left sleeve, which is fully black with different shapes. Aside from that, he wears shorts and sneakers with similar colours of the jacket.
- Likes: Routines, sweet foods, company
- Dislikes: Tight schedules, mess/litter, salmon
Voicebank details[]
Erstelloid is a hiragana-aliased Japanese CV voicebank for UTAU, created with artificial voice samples. These voice samples have been made with the use of formant filtering instruments, and splicing other sounds to form consonants in the Japanese language. His voicebank also comes with more features. These include:
- The "V" consonant [ヴぁ, ヴぇ, etc]
- An English "l" for all vowels [la, le, etc]
- An English "r" for all vowels [rra, rre, etc]
- A special phoneme that gives any Japanese vowel an R-colour when applied (a -> ar, e -> er etc) [rr]
- Vowel exhales [あ-, え-, etc]
- Inhale [inh] and exhale [exh]
- A voice pack, containing 7 audio files of speech "spoken" by Erstelloid.

- As Erstelloid wasn't built with a gender, or gender-defining features, he is by all means non-binary. Despite this, he presents himself masculinely and uses he/him, but never states or wishes to be a man.
- However, Erstelloid is a robot, using binary code. The irony.
