Sakuwatari Chiyo (朔渡チヨ(さくわたりちよ)) is a voicebank for the UTAU program.

Profile

Chiyo was created for Series 1 of UTAUPSS called "Close Companions." She was designed and voiced by creator Kitsunojo, based on her high pitched voice and sweet lolita fashion mixed with a Vocaloid-style dress. She was meant to be cuter and more moe compared to Michiyo.

Etymology details

• Name: Sakuwatari (朔渡) - the new moon which crosses over. Chiyo (チヨ) - generation. Saku watari chiyo (さくわたりちよ) - I know that I can bloom.

Character details

• Description: Chiyo is a young girl with neon pink hair and neon yellow eyes.
• Outfit: She wears a black and cyan sweet lolita/vocaloid-style dress with lots of pink frills and belts. Her headphones are white and cyan with neon purple lights and cyan frills.

Trivia

• Chiyo was designed to look like your average lolita- ruffles, frills..etc. Her shapely figure was taken from her voice actress' appearance with added moe qualities.
• In the mind of her creator, Chiyo has a massive fascination with the fur on Fjord's coat. Since she seems to be a very affectionate person, she often hugs Fjord just to shower her face in the fluff.
• Chiyo and Michiyo have a big-sister little-sister relationship. They switch roles occasionally.
• Chiyo's character item is a cake or any sweet food
• Additionally, Chiyo was created and recorded in the spring of 2008, but due to technical problems, she was released 2 years later in 2010
• Chiyo is one of the first UTAU's outside Japan
