Caché Völatta (カチェボーラタ / kache boorata) is a character from the ArchesNexus project, made by Nihilium Wave and Nexys4t. He has an UTAU voicebank with two different releases for classic UTAU and OpenUTAU. Currently, Caché has been released for Public Beta Testing in v1.9b for UTAU and ou-v2.0b for OpenUTAU.

Considered the President of Arches by the habitants of the City of Arches (and the population of The Nexus), Caché takes care of managing the memories of Teratoma in the Archiverium. Along with Minéria, he takes care of the organization of Arches. Caché has a very close relationship to Morpho, often working together. He often refers to himself as "the logic part of a brain".
Despite being highly resistant to any kind of poison and pain, if the very sensitive tumours in his neck are touched and exploded, Caché can bleed out upon death, however, his abnormally fast regeneration capacity prevents this. Despite such thing Caché is not immortal. His serious attitude may seem cold, sarcastic or narcissistic to others due to his preference of work over social interaction, but in fact he really cares about others' wellbeing, he's just bad at showing emotions. Caché is highly intelligent and his memory is flawless.

- Caché: His name. Comes from the cache memory in computers.
- Völatta: His surname. The Matter writting of "Volatile".
- カチェボーラタ: The Japanese localization name.
Relationships[]
Only canon relationships were included.
- Morpho Morphae: Despite looking nothing like each other, they seem to be the closest of the Avatars in terms of biology. They have a very deep relationship, considering themselves family between each other. Morpho seems to be the only person that Caché can bear near him.
- Minéria: A very formal relationship. They get well along each other and Minéria often forces Caché to take breaks. Caché thinks of her as a good leader, even if she despises such title. Caché is grateful that Minéria didn't decline to his petition of taking his place into the leadership of Arches.
- Vact: Vact (The Oracle) is a Wanderer that decided to stay and go under Arches' orders. Caché has certain problems getting along with him, but that doesn't stop them from working together in exchange of information from different worlds.

Caché Völatta is a male soft voice with a general lack of emotion. Through the Appends, the lack of emotion can be erased. The Extra Sounds can help with a tint of expressiveness. This voice was made with a testing record method, it may come a bit unstable. The voicebank has dedicated releases for different engines.
He has 4 Appends:
- Solid Append (SRAM): A stronger voice than the original. The difference is not much, but lacks the softness the original has. However, is not as powerful as Power.
- Power Append (LRU): A strong powerful voice tone. Has a more colorful tone than SRAM.
- Growl Append (ROM): A natural guttural, growly voice. Can be used for metal growls and screamos, though it may not have the best quality.
- Warm Append (USB): A softer voice that includes a warm tone to the voice. A bit whisper-like.
Beta versions of the voicebank do not include hiragana aliases and a special licensing for the Beta releases is provided.

- He is the first voicebank to have a dedicated release for two softwares instead of using a port.
- Caché is the first voicebank from Nihilium Wave to be announced earlier than the Early Access release.
- He is the fourth voicebank from Nihilium Wave and Nexys to recieve a dedicated development time.
- As well, his development has taken more time than any other voicebank from the group, and the idea of his creation has been there since 2018.
- The voicebank has a folder with extra sounds (0_ex) that includes 43 miscellaneous sounds, from wich 5 sounds are oto'ed as Breaths.
- The voicebank's Appends have names based in informatic memory terms, as Caché's general motif is memory and data management.
- Solid Append, officially called SRAM, is taken from the Static Random Access Memory.
- Power Append, officially called LRU, is taken from the Least Recently Used cache replacement.
- Growl Append, officially called ROM, is taken from the Read-only Memory, a type of non-volatile memory.
- Warm Append, officially called USB, is taken from the USB flash drives, wich are data storage devices.
- As well, his Append designs are based upon different themes:
- Solid: Your trusted IT office worker. It's the 11th time this week he had to fix the printer.
- Power: True Boss Battle. Caché's true form. A wonder to see, a miracle to survive.
- Growl: Vampire Hunter. Surprisingly enough, trying a fantasy costume wasn't as bad as Caché thought. He may have become a bit too attached to this roleplay in secret.
- Soft: Tower of Phobia. A hypotetical AU in wich the habitants of Teratoma are driven to The Tower. With the loss of Morpho, Caché seems to have changed forever and found in an eternal status of funeral.
- The artworks of the Appends all have their legs "cut" in a thematic way that fits them. This seems to be a purely aesthetical choice.
- Caché is often advertished as the duet partner for Morpho, as the characters are very close to each other.
- The Readme file has been noted to being unable to read his name correctly.
Character Trivia[]
- Caché's species is an Avatar, a mutation of the Morphomatters (or just Matter) from Teratoma.
- Caché's function is aimed at memory managing, just like other Avatars are focused in specific functions.
- Morpho and Caché can be considered biologic family due to them sharing certain genetics that match Morpho as an Avatar.
- However, Morpho's genetics are closer to a Morphomatter, wich is the reason of why she is classified as a Matter and not as an Avatar (unlike Caché wich is classified as an Avatar and not a Matter).
- The other Avatars completely lack this minimal relation to their species of origin (Morphomatters), wich means that Caché was the last Avatar to be created by Teratoma with a genetic relation to Matters.
- Teratoma is the world where Caché lives, with a clear motif of human biology and psychology.
- Caché is considered the logic part of the brain.
- Morpho is considered his counterpart.
- Caché is canonically confirmed to be asexual and aromantic.
- He lacks interest in sexual or romantic relationships, however he has been stablished to mantain intercourse with Morpho under very specific conditions.
- His sexual orientation shouldn't be confused with his biological needs.
- Just like Morpho, Caché also has his own "true form". However, using this form requires a huge waste of energy.
- Caché can change the structure of his own cells at will, making him able to stand certain conditions or become translucid. However he can't change the size/shape of his body.
- The blue "tumours" in his neck are often reffered as tumours, however, they seem to be more like a biological feature from Caché than a deformation.
- The NeuralNetwork is the name that the informatic collection of sotware and hardware of Arches recieves. It's mainly designed to manage collections of data.
