CORNELIA (希世音) is a character and voicebank for the UTAU program.

History[]

Cornelia was the second character produced for the 4th Fraloids series: FR4loids

2016[]

Production began in late 2016 under the name "CODE: EVA". Her voice provider was one of the singers from the French band "D'jayan".

2017[]

From 2016 to 2017 the project CODE: EVA received various concept arts and redesigns. In early 2017 she received the name "Amber".

Her original color scheme was supposed to be Red and white. However, due to the release of another French voice with this color scheme in April 2017, her color scheme was changed to purple, green and white and her name was changed to CORNELIA.

2018[]

Due to Cornelia's voice provider's complicated schedule, multiple recording sessions were organised in 2017 and early 2018. Cornelia was planned to receive a 4 pitch CVVC+ voicebank in French and a 4 pitch VCV Japanese voice bank.

2019[]

Due to Cornelia's voice provider not being available as of mid-2018, recordings were never finished, leaving Cornelia with only a Prototype voicebank , that released in late 2019.

2023[]

As part of the Fraloids VORTEX Revival, Cornelia was updated with new samples and a new design. She got a new 5 pitches VCCV French (m2RUg) voicebank and released on October 27th.

Concept[]

Lore[]

In the VORTEX era, CORNELIA got transported through the VORTEX into a new universe. She became the founder of a small Lavender soap boutique that evolved into a big Luxury brand called "Purple Diamond" which she is now the CEO of. She is also Kevin Futarine's stylist. She kept a toned down version of her former power of clairvoyance, that enables her to anticipate trends, which help her built at her company and fortune.

Cornelia is 32 years old. She is friendly, calm and motherly. She lives in the same universe and timeline as Kevin Futarine STUDIO. She has psychic powers enabling her to see glimpses of the future and to connect with other people through their minds. She also has a robot named Vulpes

Trivia[]

Cornelia is the FRAloids character that has the longest developpement period
- Despite this, her final voicebanks were never recorded and stayed as a PROTOTYPE
Cornelia's Prototype was released in 2019 due to popular demande.
- Initially she was going to be cancelled with no published voicebanks
Cornelia is the first FRAloids character to be voiced by a professional singer.
Cornelia's name and concept changed several times during production.
- The first concept date as far back as 2013 with the name Serenia, but was later discarded.
- In 2016, the concept for Serenia was modified and became CODE:EVA.
- Later in production, she was rebranded as AMBER, fitting her red and white color scheme.
- After april 2017, her color scheme was modified to her current one, and her name change to CORNELIA. Her surname "Kiseine" was added sometime later in 2017.
