NAME INTERPRETATION: 奇異音 (Kiine; Multiple meanings: odd sound, strange sound, wonderful sound.) - Refers to how weird his voice is because of his heavy Western accent, but to some it sounds nice. ベル (Beru/Bel) - A shortened version of a strange name the donor was almost given when born.
TYPE: UTAUTAloid - UTAUTA is a pun. UTAU-TA means "several utau" and there are several in the series. However, it can be read "UTA UTA" meaning "song song". "loid" comes from Vocaloid and "UTAUloid." MODEL: 02 - Second model in the UTAUTAloid series.

Voice Configuration
Bel is designed for English, Japanese, and French. Voicebank is written in mostly Kana with some English consanents for English singing capabilities. Example would be "b" instead of "び" to put at the end of an english word like "bathtub".
Please note that the voice donor for Bel actually doesn't know any Japanese, and the Western accent is unintentional. Therefore, you should not expect him to sing exceptionally well, for he was created for the sole purpose of dueting with Kaita Kumone.
