While this information is what is considered canon, use of the voicebank does not require users to adhere to this. Any gendered language or attributes may be given to AyaLuna and changes may be made to the personality or backstory to suit.
AyaLuna may appear to be shy, quiet or intimidating, but they are actually incredibly passionate and affectionate. They sing for the joy of the art and wish to share this creative outlet to the world even if it doesn't listen. They may be characterised as obsessive or a hopeless romantic, stubbornly striving to achieve their dreams of being noticed and accepted in the eyes of others.
Character details[]
- Name: AyaLuna was named after their creator and voice provider, intending to be an avatar/persona like character. Aya is a first name that is used in many cultures with many different meanings, however it is usually associated with the Japanese first name meaning "design," "colourful," or "beautiful". Luna is the Latin word for "moon". The voicebank may be referred to as "AyaLunaUTAU" for differentiation.
- Description: Eyes are orange-purple, and hair is a bright green bob cut with light blue on the underside and on a single strip of hair on the left. They also have rabbit-like ears with blue ribbons wrapped around them, however it is unclear whether they are real or not
- Outfit: Wears a large, figure-obscuring coat, leggings, and brogue boots. The entire outfit is shades of blue with a night-sky pattern throughout. Optionally wears fingerless gloves similar to the leggings.

- Dislikes: winter, the taste of alcohol, swimming

'AyaLuna 1.0' - The first voicebank ever recorded for AyaLuna. Uses a different reclist to all future expressions and produces a solid yet robotic sound. An additional breath pack that can be added to the base voicebank was later recorded.

'AyaLuna Soft' - While producing a rather different sound from the original 1.0, the soft voicebank has a similar vocal range however comes with the problem of some consonant sounds being mumbled, blending words together.

'AyaLuna Mature' - Holds a light accent difference compared to the other voicebanks and was intended for use with harder, louder vocals, however ended up not being as aggressive and as such can produce good results when singing ballad type songs.

'AyaLuna Tired' - Produces lazy, drawn out vocals that can more comfortably reach a lower pitch compared to the other voicebanks.

'AyaLuna Sweet' - A slightly voice-acted expression. Can reach higher notes far more comfortably than any of AyaLuna's past expressions without affecting the volume.

'AyaLuna Harsh' - An experimental expression. It produces grating, muffled, glitchy vocals, and is not advised to be used outside of heavily stylised music.

'AyaLuna Shout' - The first yelling expression recorded. Can be used in conjunction with the original 1.0 or on its own for louder, harder vocals.

'AyaLuna Power' - A more aggressive alternative to the Shout expression, recommended for angrier vocals or rock genre. Problems with volume peaking and missing pa/pi/pu/pe/po sounds.

'AyaLuna Cheerful' - A more natural alternative to the Sweet expression. Similar range and application however produces a sound that more closely resembles that of the original 1.0.
