Anta Shizuko (静子アンタ) is a voicebank for the UTAU program.
History[]
Anta was released as an UTAU voicebank on December 23rd, 2010 on the creator's (now deleted) old YouTube channel. She has received many and frequent updates over the years and can sing in multiple languages. In 2019 she also received a voicebank for the DeepVocal software. In 2025, she received a voicebank for the NIAOniao software. Also in 2025, testing began for a DiffSinger voicebank.
Concept[]
Anta is, first and foremost, a kind and generous person. She cares greatly for others and would do anything to help someone in need. She is basically the definition of “the mom friend.” She’s also fairly naïve and gullible, which allows others to take advantage of her. She sincerely loves every person she meets, though she has trouble knowing when to hold back on the affection. She has a hard time telling when someone dislikes her unless they explicitly say so.
She, along with her twin brother Kamino, is the oldest of five children. Her and her siblings all live together in a decently sized apartment that their parents pay for. Her parents travel a lot for work, so Anta is usually tasked with taking care of her younger siblings.
In her spare time, she makes videos about makeup and fashion and uploads videos of her singing covers of songs. She has gathered a small following online and roped (most) of her siblings into it, with them even adopting the fake last name she uses into their own branding. Anta also works as a nanny in her spare time.
Anta is polyamorous and pansexual, though she does have a preference for women. Canonically, she’s been in a relationship with Kinou Ashita since high school.
