Profile[]
Amai Magi was originally created by a small robotics company in the middle of Japan. Her purpose was to serve as an in-home nurse to those who were either recovering or choosing to live out the rest of their days in their own homes. She was to come with a variety of features such as wound care, cooking, cleaning, and the ability to sing a limited variety of songs. (Which she would later learn more the longer she would spend with the person in her care)
However, things did not go as planned and the small company was forced to shut down. Amai was their first and only program created. Once the lab had been cleaned out of all that they could sell, she was left in her charging pod. They didn't have the heart to wake her up and tell her the bad news. So, they had abandoned her in the hopes that she would grow on her own. She had the tools capable of doing so. But, has not yet learned of the outside world.
One day she had awoken to the sound of her pod finally shutting down. Realizing she needed to alert a scientist, she pried open the doors and was greeted to an empty room full of dust. Her heart sank, realizing that she had been abandoned all this time. She experienced one of the worst human fears and could never recover. Instead of shying away from the world, she had sought answers. Keeping her head held as high as she could, she dusted herself off and began to carefully explore the lab.
She stumbled across an old collection of idol magazines. Inspired by the pretty frills and bright pinks of their outfits, she had an idea: become a singer. That way she could spread joy to the world with her voice. She knew it wouldn't be easy. As she read in the old articles of how they go their start and rose to stardom. Amai was excited to get to work. So, she practiced singing. The lab had a busted radio that still seemed to work. Through careful processing, she managed to learn a few pop songs. And the rest was history.
Amai still struggles with feeling abandoned and works tirelessly to keep her friends happy with her. She would bend over backwards for anyone she is close to. Even if it were to land her into trouble. Whether it is to get them out of trouble or to save them from danger, she would do anything. It weighed heavy on her heart that she would never meet her android "siblings" or spend time with the head scientist whom she considered a father figure. Though it catches up to her from time to time, she is still a very happy person. Hiding her sadness in the songs she writes. She finds that it makes her feel human enough and hopes to see more androids pursue their dreams. No matter how small they may seem on the surface.
She is at the height of her career. Though she is no superstar, she has a massive following on social media platforms. Many consider her to be their big sister and look up to her dearly. She is great with younger fans and will often give them a handmade stuffed toy or a sweet treat from her tiny candy jar that she keeps in her pocket.
Each of her voice styles represent a different emotion that she discovered for the first time. She does her best to portray it based off her perception of said emotion. Since she doesn't fully understand why she feels these things. It connects her to the world around her and brings her peace.

Trivia[]
- Magi's original name was Melodie. However, it was changed to Amai due to it sounding a little cuter.
- Amai has a pet pink sheep named Berry. She's extremely soft and fluffy.
- She can make almost any sweet. However, she still fails at making her favorite: Macarons.
- She often collects Squishmallows and loves the feeling of their material and hugs them in times of crisis.
- She startles easily and is known to fall over, not quite faint.
- Amai is extremely shy and will often not leave her room unless it is to go out for much needed fresh air.
- She can become quickly excited when viewing things she likes.
- Amai loves to eat sweets, especially those in pastel colored wrappers. Taffys are among some of her favorites.
- Though she is an android, she can eat and process foods very similarly to humans through bio-organic means.
- Amai loves to meet new people.
- She enjoys certain textures such as slime (due to its cool and viscus material. Not to mention colors) and soft things. However, she dislikes having anything around her neck. Though she wears a choker for performances, she will immediately take it off after, as she claims to feel restricted.
- Unless you are a friend of hers, it is best you do not touch her or play with her hair. She will promptly run away from anyone that tries to do so.
