"Bydda i'n hollti gwddf y bysedd Selsig fy hun. Hir Fyw Llywelyn ap Gruffudd."
—Ada, at some point

History[]

Ada was first publicly released in 2019, as a remake of ricecristpy's original UTAU bank from 2010. Originally a monopitch VCV Japanese from 2014 was used, then the quad-pitch VCV Japanese paired with the CV-C Multilanguage tri-pitch took its place. Ada's main banks are now the 7 pitch VCV Japanese with masculine and growl append, 6 pitch VCV Japanese soft append, 6 pitch VCV Japanese solid append, tri-pitch CV-C Multilanguage with Welsh capability, and a private 4 pitch VCCV English bank.

Concept[]

Everything stated here is canon and cannot be changed.

Ada is nonbinary, leaning masculine, pansexual, and of Cymry/Welsh origin.

Everything stated here is still canon, but can be changed if needed depending on context.

Ada is lazy, a bit aloof and very dependent and attached to their technology. They see no point in putting effort into coming across as kind or approachable, especially if it's only a mask to get people to talk to them (which they don't want). They spend most of their time staring blankly at documentaries or playing video games on mic, screaming at other people. Most of their other skills lie in causing problems, winning fights, and making English food bearable.

They're chaotic in the worst way imaginable- they're unable to play any game with a lobby without screaming at everyone, on the same team or not; they've yet to go to an Independence rally without getting detained for nearly throwing fists at British passersby who make snide comments. Whether this is because of genuine aggression, or just the fact that they have a very intimidating resting face is uncertain.

Being that their music career isn't the greatest or most lucrative, most of their living is earned volunteering with the Independence organisation; filling orders for shirts and bottles and stickers with the country's outline on it, writing the newsletters and emails, and garnering support from the people and the media through interviews and news reporting. This matters more to them than music, but at the same time, if the music were to kick off, they wouldn't complain about it.

  • Likes: Cultural food, most genres of metal, being annoying on social media, documentaries, insulting the English, insulting anything English in general, their really old house, shorts and cropped shirts, cold weather, tartans, daffodils, the Mabinogion, outer space, Call of Duty, Valorant & Rainbow Six (good games to scream at people in)
  • Dislikes: Literally anything English (people, places, history, news, anything) having to speak English in their home country (its fine outside of Cymru) the Monarchy and their stolen titles, bland food, sheep comments and jokes (you'll get beat up), hot weather

Etymology[]

  • Ada: Comes from the merch Cymraeg name Adaryn meaning a "high-flying bird".
  • Llywelyn: A bachgen Cymraeg name meaning "like a lion." It is also a famous surname in Cymru, dating back to the common Brittonic language.

Appearance[]

  • Hair Colour: In English, a variant of black. In Cymraeg it would be called Tywyll.
  • Eye Colour: Sky blue
  • Build: Tall and stocky. Far from feminine and skinny.
  • Height: 178 centimeters
  • Weight: 12 stones

Relations[]

  • Stella - Girlfriend (and band mate)
  • Margaret Samsa - Friend & Band mate
  • Arachne - Friend & Band mate
