Azoa (あぞあ) is a voicebank for the UTAU program created by AltEOS. His duet partner is Lídem.

A young looking boy with mint eyes and short black "emo" hair. He doesn't seem to care much about anything. Lonely, distant… hides his emotions frequently, however he’s a very loyal and caring friend. Has a certain affinity to darkness. His right arm seems to be burnt and always covered by bandages.
This bandages turn black with mint markings while Azoa makes use of his "Cursed Bandages" ability. If used for too long, it can burn him wherever the bandages touch his skin. Other powers of his include the capability of absolute control over shadows, as well as bending with them. However, if used on excess, it can led to an extreme tired state.
Has a deceased (not family or blood related) brother that is called Lidem, that had an identical earring to Azoa's, in a different color scheme. Azoa seems to have a friendship with a certain individual that seems familiar...
The human who summoned Azoa was called Mast. The reason of the summoning was... a deep wish to make a friend. Mast was chronically ill, and despite Azoa trying to refuse, he ended up agreeing to the pact. As a result, Mast gifted it's body and soul to Azoa, who followed the contract, making that body as his.

- Azoa: His name. Doesn't have a specific origin.
- あぞあ: The Japanese localization name.
Relationships[]
Canon relationships from the universe Azoa belongs to:
- Mast: The human who summoned Azoa. Their relationship goes to a deep friendship. It is unknown if Azoa's body is still exactly as Mast left it, according to their contract.
- LÍDEM: Azoa's brother. Supposedly deceased, but still has a place in Azoa's heart. The earring Azoa has is meant to be completed by an identic piece in an orange color that Lídem has.
Relationships that can be considered canon thanks to crossovers, due to the characters belonging to different universes. These relationships have been confirmed to be canon if a crossover were to happen, however this goes outside of their strict personal stories.
- Heccan: He can't stand her. It doesn't matter if she's not even doing a single thing. He wants her very, very far from him.
- Slice: They have a friendly relationship. Azoa likes her outfits.
- Bakira: They have knowledge of each other.
- Glucagon: They get along. Azoa is always keeping an eye to make sure Glucagon does not result annoying to others on accident.
- MEAST: Azoa can feel her, but never met her in person or talked to her.
- SC-122-Sonia: They have a very vague knowledge of each other, only based in mentions from each one's names by other people.

- A fatal error was fixed in the oto.ini . The voicebank's vowels should no longer produce ear-piercing sounds when the UST uses short vowel notes.

Azoa's voice is described as a male, caring and brotherly voice with a bit of an English accent. Works best in a medium-low pitch and it is heavily recommended that the USTs are fitted to his logical range and that the Recommended Settings are used. For compatibility between UTAU and OpenUTAU please read the details in the descriptions
Azoa has a folder of around 20 extra sounds:
- 7 Breaths (2 hard breaths, 3 long breaths, 2 short breaths)
- 8 Laughs (4 brotherly laughs, 2 friendly laughs, 2 rivalry laughs)

- A template with the settings for Azoa has been made for OpenUTAU, requires straycat-rs resampler to work.
- An alternate template was provided as well for usage with tn_fnds / straycat-rs and wavtool2 / simple /convergence.
If you're using the old voicebank, please only use the UTAU voicebank if you're using UTAU instead of OpenUTAU.

Trivia[]
- Azoa and Lídem's development happened around the same time, centered around making them duet well with each other. However, Azoa released two years earlier than Lídem.
- An update was made on 12th February, 2025, that fixed high-pitched bug sounds when vowel's Envelopes were not adapted correctly- a bug that occured often when using OpenUTAU software.
- It is confirmed that Azoa and Lídem share a bromance kind of relationship, however nothing else is confirmed.
