AKITA INU is an UTAUloid created with the intent of having an androgynous voice, as well as providing fat character representation since the creator felt that not many UTAUloids were of this body type.
AKITA is a mellow yet cheery inu who will make friends with just about anyone, and she loves dogs of course. They love to snack on cheap convenience store snacks and sweets. His ears and tail are real, so don't pull on them! They are also blind in their right eye.

- Name: Akita - "秋田[1]", the dog breed; Inu - "犬", meaning "dog"
Appearance details[]
AKITA INU is a large inu with warm brown skin and pale yellow eyes. There are two symmetrical moles on their face under each eye. They have green hair that is tied into two pigtails with white scrunchies in the front, and two longer braids in the back. She adorns a matching tail and dog ears. Her accessories include silver snake bite piercings, a silver bridge piercing, a black septum ring, and a silver dog bone necklace. He wears a black, high-neck crop top with green and black striped arm sleeves. He wears a black skirt with green stitching, two green belt straps on either side, and green and black patterned leg warmers. Their shoes are simple black boots with no laces. Their fingernails are also painted black.
AKITA INU V1's design had many notable differences. He had brown hair with blonde tips, and his front pigtails were braided. His ears and tail matched this coloring. Her eyebrows were blonde and had centered silver brow piercings above each eye. Her right eye was covered by a white, ruffly eye patch with a green "X" on it, and she had a star-shaped earpiece with a microphone. They wore a white, high-neck crop top with a green paw print and brown cargo sweatpants with a silver belt chain and star charm on their left side. Their shoes were black boots with green laces and star detailing.

- AKITA INU V1 was released on March 25, 2022 as a standalone tripitch VCV voicebank containing extra breath files. They had a very breathy, limited androgynous tone.
- AKITA INU V1 is no longer available for download.
- AKITA INU V2 was released on December 17, 2022 as a standalone tripitch VCV voicebank containing extra breath files. They have a gentle, solid androgynous tone.
- Discontinued, however it remains available for download and use on the official distribution site[2].

Trivia[]
- AKITA INU was DOGGY's first voicebank after a decade of hiatus from the UTAU community.
- Initially, the filenames for AKITA INU's voicebanks labelled their name as AKITA MULTI V1/V2. This was a mistake left over from prototyping the voicebank, and has since been corrected.
- While AKITA INU V2 is intended for VCV usage, it has additional CVVC configuration.
